• no-spectator rule applies to the ARCA and Xfinity races on Saturday
• Last year the Xfinity race was run on April 27. Tyler Reddick was the race winner. Grey Gaulding was second, Christopher Bell third, Chase Briscoe fourth Austin Cindric fifth.
• Last week a pair of Xfinity races were run at Homestead. In the first race, run on Saturday, June 13, Harrison Burton won the race ahead of Austin Cindric off The final restart in overtime. Had that late-race caution not come, Noah Gragson had looked to be the winner for sure but he had to settle for third in the end. Anthony Alfredo was fourth and Dale Earnhardt Jr, in his only entry in the series this year, finished fifth.
• The second Xfinity race last weekend was run on Sunday. Chase Briscoe, who had started Saturday’s race six laps down but he rebounded to finish seventh, made up for that disappointment by winning on Sunday. Brandon Jones was a very close second, Ross Chastain third. A.J. Allmendinger fourth and Gragson fifth.

• 5000 paying guests who live within a 150-mile radius will be allowed to attend + some motorhome sites on the backstretch.
• Last year there were two Cup races here; the first on April 28 and the second on October 13. In April, Chase Elliott was the winner over his teammate Alex Bowman; Ryan Preece was third, Joey Logano fourth and Daniel Hemric fifth. The Fall race was won by Ryan Blaney. Ryan Newman was second, Denny Hamlin third, Aric Almirola fourth and Michael McDowell fifth. The significant number of lesser-known drivers who finished in the top five is an indication of just how much of a lottery this race is – a win here is as much based on luck as it is on driving talent.
• The most recent Cup race this year was run last Sunday at Homestead. Denny Hamlin won both of the first two Stages on his way to the race win. Chase Elliot was second, Ryan Blaney third with the rookie Tyler Reddick fourth and Aric Almirola fifth. Christopher Bell, who finished in eighth place was a second rookie finishing in the top ten – something unusual here.
